Katie Lodge

Founder, The Creative Lodge

Classically trained in Architecture and Design, Katie has forged a diverse career that is quite unique. Katie's love of design and the built environment developed over the years to a more broad, creative take on the industry through business development, marketing, and bid management roles.

Diving head-first into a graphic design course at Shillington College in 2016 whilst still working in a full-time role at a global real estate company, her drive, energy, and interest in the property and the built environment, and design in all forms has never waivered.

With almost 20 years of experience in the property and construction industry and a decade of that in business development and tender experience, Katie greatly expanded her knowledge base, as well as her seamless ability to form meaningful connections with colleagues and contacts, all while designing heavy-duty pitches and collateral to win multi-million-dollar projects for her team.

Katie has worked at some of Australia's leading project management, creative agencies, property and real estate organisations, leading their Business Development and Marketing teams. During this time she achieved great success through some major project wins, growth to the business and contribution to the bottom line.

Since establishing her own consulting business - The Creative Lodge - in 2019, Katie’s work now focuses on allowing people to reclaim their time to do the things that they are truly passionate about - their craft and subject matter areas - whilst assisting them to raise their profile, create new opportunities and increase their revenue using design and strategic thinking.

This takes shape in a number of ways including research, review, and recommendations of their existing approaches to winning new business, brand and marketing collateral; establishing BD processes and structure; bid management and coordination; content and knowledge management; and providing creative / design services to elevate their presence.
